According to the strategy guidelines defined in 2005 by the majority shareholder, during the financial year 2005/2006 FRIULIA acquired the control of the other companies in which the Region has a direct interest, by creating a group  (FRIULIA HOLDING) with the purpose to increase the value and rationalise the entire portfolio, to make individual companies specialised per area and function, to implement a regional system by consolidating presence and activity in the Region territory by means of coordinated tools.  The group includes companies operating in the various sectors (finance, transport, tourism, internationalisation supporting services, banking services, etc.) and sharing the goal to foster the economic development of the Region territory.
